The US Department of Homeland Security has a vital mission: to secure the nation from the many threats we face. As part of it's mission, DHS works to ensure that the nation can seize the opportunity to procure and manage smart devices, applications, and data safely, securely, and efficiently. DHS also operates programs that help educate and recruit future generations of cybersecurity workers and arm citizens with the information they need to protect themselves online. The organization has been supporting CyberPatriot since 2013.
In 2010, DHS started Stop.Think.Connect, a national public awareness campaign aimed at increasing the understanding of cyber threats and empowering the American public to be safer and more secure online. CyberPatriot became an official member of the campaign in 2015. To learn more, visit www.dhs.gov/stopthinkconnect
