The CyberPatriot XIII National Finals Competition will be held virtually on March 19-21, 2021. This is the second year that the National Finals have transitioned to a virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In May of 2020, the CyberPatriot National Finals were held virtually after the in-person National Finals Competition scheduled for March of 2020 was cancelled and moved to a virtual format.
Schedule:
FRIDAY, MARCH 19
Teams will participate in the TCP/IP (The Career Portal/Industry Perspective) event with CyberPatriot sponsors.
SATURDAY, MARCH 20
Tune in for the kickoff of the virtual National Finals Competition. Hear from Air Force Association President, Lt Gen (Ret) Bruce "Orville" Wright, and representatives from CyberPatriot's generous sponsors as they wish the competitors "good luck!" in this final competition round.
Noon-3:30 PM ET: Northrop Grumman Foundation Network Security Master Challenge with AT&T Component
Connecting through a virtual private network to our servers, teams have 3 ½ hours to find and fix as many security issues as they can in seven Windows or Linux operating systems. A Red Team of cybersecurity professionals has the task of penetrating the competitors’ systems to test their security. The challenge also includes the AT&T Component inject which requires teams to complete a difficult but essential, cybersecurity task while they try to protect their systems.

5:30-7:00 PM ET: Cisco NetAcad Challenge
This 90-minute challenge requires teams to build a complex but secure network using the Cisco Packet Tracer network simulation tool. Teams are not only working on the problem but also working on how best to do so in a distributed environment. Teams also have to complete a Cisco networking quiz that tests them on the skills they learned this season.
SUNDAY, MARCH 21
Join the Air Force Association's Chairman of the Board, CMSAF #14 Gerald Murray; AFA's Vice Chairman of the Board Col (Ret) James Hannam; CyberPatriot staff members; and key representatives of our sponsoring organizations as we announce the winners of the CyberPatriot XIII National Finals Competition! We will be privileged to hear from keynote speaker Valerie Scheder, AT&T's Assistant Vice President of Global Fraud Management.
